UNTIL DEATH SEPARATE US...

By Valdenira Nunes de Menezes Silva"And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not separate from her husband. If, however, if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband to Woman. " (1 Corinthians 7:10-11)

1 - INTRODUCTION[...]

The story I tell now happened on June 26 of any year. It was a sunny day, the sky was a brilliant blue, the flowers seemed more fragrant, birds singing like a choir of angels ... was my wedding day. Finally, I would marry the man I loved. We were going to be happy forever and when I heard the speaker say, "Till death do us part ...", my heart rejoiced

.2 - INSTITUTION CREATED BY GOD

Marriage is an institution created by God to bring joy and pleasure to men and women. We can see this in Genesis 1:27:"So God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it."

God created Adam and Eve, joined them, commanded to multiply. He created a permanent relationship, chaste. As sin had not yet taken account of Adam and Eve, then the marriage bond was for all eternity. It is designed to last forever. With sin in our life, we can say that marriage should last "until death do us part ..."

We see the world going to far from what God intended for both - an indissoluble marriage and that only ends with the death of a spouse. But although many think that the institution of marriage is in order, we know that there are still many couples who do not want to give it up.Unfortunately, today the number of people who are separated is very large. Even among people believers, we see many marriages being dissolved.

Marriages where spouses see far what God has instituted for their lives. Couples who are in disobedience, couples who do not put their problems on the altar of the Lord, unhappy couples with children unhappy ...We know that there are several ways to salvarmos our marriage to be placed in the hands of the Lord.Avoid divorce because it is a violation of God's will ...Divorce displeases God and is not part of His perfect will. He did not create another woman or another man for Adam and Eve, if they desentendessem. If he wanted so, He would have created two men and two women. But the Lord always wanted the man to be monogamous, for He alone created a man and a woman to love each other for an eternity.

Divorce displeases God because He knows that those affected by this decision will not only thoughtless husband and wife but especially the children. Many children come from dysfunctional homes that were destroyed by divorce.Divorce displeases God because, as a believer, I have to give a good witness to the world. I have to show the world that Christ, who gave His life to save me, makes a big difference in my marriage.

Divorce displeases God because He knows that there are other ways that you can use to save the marriage. Any marriage can be restored if both seek aid in the Lord, if both are willing to admit mistakes and both are willing to forgive one another. If both are at the center of God's perfect will, surely there can be a new beginning, a reconciliation.

For a marriage to be successful it is necessary that both have a constant dedication to each other. As for us women, we not only need to dedicate ourselves but sometimes we even have to sacrifice ourselves for the person we love - our husband. Just as we do with the plant,  we must take care our marriage for it to grow healthy ... take care by our house ... take care so that it becomes enjoyable ... take care of our children ... cooking waht they like ... make it into a home. Some say that marriage was instituted in the sky but ours to maintenance work. If I promised to stay with my husband "till death do us part", so I have to take care of our marriage every day. Sister, love your spouse. Take care of him. Try to be the wife who will love him until death separates you.Thank the Lord for having it placed in your life. Fight for his happiness, the happiness of their children and ultimately for your own happiness. May the Lord bless each wife is here, putting in his heart the desire to love her husband with the same love that He loves us - unconditional love, sacrificial.
