Movie: "Left Behind" - Revelation

Tom, my beloved hubby, and I are reading the bible in a year and now, in the month of December 2013, we enjoyed the book of Revelation. We always pray for the Lord to send the Holy Spirit to help us understand what we are reading. Specially during the reading of Revelation, which is very difficult to understand the important prophecies.

Last weekend a miracle happened. We were watching TV and when we change channels looking for something interesting we found the film left behind, which was produced by truly Christians to help people to understand the Apocalypse! Is it not it wonderful that the Lord answers our prayers? This movies helped us a lot to understand better the Revelation.

Asteroid 2002 NT7: Low-Probability of Earth Impact in 2019

Asteroid 2002 NT7 currently heads the list on our IMPACT RISKS Page because of a low-probability Earth impact prediction for February 1, 2019. While this prediction is of scientific interest, the probability of impact is not large enough to warrant public concern.

Discovered on July 9, 2002 by the LINEAR team, asteroid 2002 NT7 is in an orbit, which is highly inclined with respect to the Earth's orbit about the sun and in fact nearly intersects the orbit of the Earth. While the orbits of Earth and 2002 NT7 are close to one another at one point in their respective orbits, that does not mean that the asteroid and Earth themselves will get close to one another. Just after an asteroid like 2002 NT7 is discovered, the limited number of observations available do not allow its trajectory to be tightly constrained and the object's very uncertain future motion often allows a very low probability of an Earth impact at some future date. Just such a low probability impact has been identified for February 1, 2019 and a few subsequent dates.

As additional observations of the asteroid are made in the coming months, and perhaps pre-discovery archival observations of this object are identified, the asteroid's orbit will become more tightly constrained and the future motion of the asteroid will become better defined. By far the most likely scenario is that, with additional data, the possibility of an Earth impact will be eliminated.

This is an example of the type of scenario that we can expect as some types of near-Earth objects are discovered. For some objects, their uncertain initial orbits cannot be used to immediately rule out future very low-probability Earth impacts, but when additional observations are used to refine the initial orbit, these low-probability Earth impact possibilities will go away. Other recently discovered near-Earth asteroids will be added to the Risk page until their orbits are refined and they are then dropped off the list of closely watched objects.

This is how the system is expected to work and any initial indication of a low-probability Earth impact followed by a removal of that event from our IMPACT RISKS tables should not be considered a mistake. It is a natural result of the on-going process of monitoring the motions of near-Earth objects.

Have you really been obeying The Holy Spirit
In all of the things that He has told you to do?
Have you every day, every way been truly worthy,
Have you in every way been faithful and true?

Only God in Heaven knows the day and the hour
When the Heavenly Bridegroom will appear.
In the blink of an eye gives us no time to repent.
We must prepare to meet our Savior so Dear.

Proof that the Holy Bible contains Historical Facts: Sumerian Planisphere relates do Sodom and Gomorrah destruction

I just saw an interesting show on the science channel on Sodom and Gomorrah. It talks about an asteroid that hits around the alps in Austria in 3123 BC which would have put about a half a billion tons of debris into the sky that could have fallen on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and other cities in the dead sea area. Apparently this is explained in an ancient Sumerian planisphere. By the way the Science channel here in the U.S. is not a Christian channel.

God plumbline is completely different from the physical one used on earth because it is based on the spiritual. God measures people according to His standard of righteousness and truth. He wants His people to be absolutely righteous and to gain back His love and trust. The earthly plumbline is used to measure buildings and things which are built upright on earth.

What is a plumbline?
It is a cord by which a plumb (weight, usually of lead, attached to a line used to test perpendicularity). This is used by a mason or carpenter when they build a house or an object. God had set a plumbline for His people and He spoke to Amos the prophet in the Old Testament. Those who are obedient to His commandments would find the answers to questions but those who are reluctant to follow God will not see clearly the message He has for mankind.

GOD'S PLUMBLINE

God spoke to Amos, and it was for Israel once and for all. God would not repeat it again.

JESUS PAID IT ALL

Jesus offered up His dear life to pay for our sin on Calvary, that day;

Walked up a hill, with thorns in His head, for our sins He went to pay.

I love Thee, Oh, my Lord. Thank you for taking away death's sting.

And, in believing in His only Son, true freedom it will bring.

He conquered evil, through the Cross, upon Calvary that awesome day.

So, let us pick up our cross and follow in His footsteps, all the way,

Looking for a brighter tomorrow; up there with the Father and He,

Who bore the heavy old cross and gave His sweet life, there at Calvary.

Philippians 4:13 is one of the Bible verses that I love most, especially in the English, whose meaning is more profound for me: "I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ has given me." Already in Portuguese: " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. " It is interest the subtle difference between translations, just the same Spirit to tell us the real and correct meaning of the Scriptures.

In the moments of tribulation and distress, I could praise the Lord with all his strength and hope, with the grace, miracles happened and conflicted situation was resolved. I can say that today I'm giving my testimony here, because in the worst and most difficult moments the Lord strengthened me, His grace has made me strong and in my weakness with His strength I won! The Lord is shaping us as a vessel in the hands of the potter, we become the purest gold for His glory and not our own.

When the tribulation comes the grace and strength of the Lord also comes up to us. What has happened, we can not go back, we can only look forward to the Lord's salvation." Watch and pray without ceasing"!

As Jesus said: "If someone asks you something, give you more of what he calls" No matter the temporary things, what matters is eternal life, that if we are in Christ and in his words, nobody can we take what we have and the more valuable that only the Lord can control.

But we read and meditate on every verse of this wonderful chapter of the Letter of the Apostle Paul to the Philippians.

"Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, Rejoice.
Let your equity be known unto all men. Perto está o Senhor."(Fil. 4.4) The Lord is near. "(Phil. 4.4)

Yes, the joy of the Lord is our strength! Make him happy is our greatest pleasure, is our greatest joy, despite all the difficulties we can smile and help those suffering perhaps more than us.The world is not only restricted to our yard or "belly", but there are people and countries that have not yet been reached by the gospel and the salvation He brings. May the Lord help us to have fairness, which means equality. It is even difficult to treat everyone the same, only with the same grace and the Lord, who gives the sun also all we can to help, because if the love He's close to us, we can search it while we can find it. Only He can teach us to love our enemies and forgive those who have wronged us.

Be anxious for nothing, but your requests be made known unto God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:6-7)

"Do not you anxious for nothing," "I Come ye that are weary and I will ease you, my burden is easy and my yoke is light!" What concerns instead we praise the Lord with psalms and chants , bless his name. What's the point if we can not be anxious for anything ourselves. Jesus always said, "the works that I perform and the power of the Father in me", and most of us who are mere mortals, without the grace of God we are nothing. For one millimeter can increase our stature or contralar the hairs of our head, but without the Father has counted them all, because not a wire falls without his permission! Praise the Lord!

Surely all the evil that wants to put the evil will fall apart that we bless the name of the Lord until the sadness is replaced by the joy of the Lord! Loving God with all our heart, soul and power, this is the primary point, but important. It's easy to praise him when all is well, but when things estam dificieis even just gonna love it.

For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

All that is true, pure and comes from the Lord, we can think. We love enjoying nature, that the best way to show the love of God. People think, mostly, it's all good, all religões saved, but not quite. There are has "Christian religions", or rather call themselves Christian, but are actually sects, cults, do not grounded in the Word of God, but the pervert.

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Yet much I rejoiced in the Lord finally revive your memory of me: for ye have you had remembered, but not you had had the opportunity. do not say this as a need, for I have learned to be content with what I have.
Here is the key point for those who think only in material wealth and not knowing settle for what you have. May we be happy in any circumstance.

I know to be abased, and I know how to abound: in any way, and in all things I am instructed both to be filled, such as being hungry, both to abound, and to suffer need.
For richer, for poorer, in abundance, hunger, health, disease ... it's beautiful, it seems that statement that makes the wedding ceremony! We also have a covenant with the Lord yes, our love is unconditional, no matter the external conditions, because we are in our intimate with him always, "the kingdom of God is within us!" Because he rules all!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We have the strength to face any situation in the power of Christ gives us every moment, for He is life abundant and eternal in us, when we receive him as our one and only Lord and Savior. It is that strength in weakness is revealed!

Nevertheless you have done well in taking part in my affliction.

May we share the grief of Christ on the cross who suffered for us, but also won this and sitting on the right of the Father where He If we believe this, for He is with us!

And well ye know, ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only; Because also time and again you sent me the need to Thessalonica.

The Apostle says to the Philippians took part of his suffering and yet they were the ones who took part. May we also we communicate with Christ, giving and receiving grace to have it always at our side as a witness. May we give away what by the grace of Jesus we receive! Yes God's grace is sufficient for us every day, necessary that we should not be anxious about tomorrow, for just every day their own concerns.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Let us also bear fruit as Paul did. Os frutos são as almas que ganhamos para o Senhor. The fruits are the souls we won for the Lord. Not for our vain glory but to shine the Light of Jesus in the world and for our own salvation and that of many because "the tree that does not bear fruit is cut down and thrown away." While it is our bedroom doors closed, praying for the nations and people in need.

But I have, and I have plenty. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus what your part was sent to me as the smell of sweetness and pleasing sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. My God, according to his riches shall supply all your needs in glory by Christ Jesus.
Clearly, the Apostle received "the riches of the Lord" and they supplied the needs in glory by Christ Jesus. Here collapses Prosperity Theology, which says that only those who have wealth and blessed.

Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Wonderful family with 19 kids and...

Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar married July 21st, 1984. At that time, they chose to use the birth control pill. They thought, “We don’t want children right now. We can’t afford them. We want children in our timing, when we’re ready.” Four years later they decided to have their first child. Then, Michelle went back on the pill, but she conceived and had a miscarriage. Right after that Michelle got pregnant with twins! To date they have been blessed with 19 children, (10 boys and 9 girls) Joshua (& wife Anna), Jana & John-David (twins), Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah & Jeremiah (twins), Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie.

Under the microscope, they look like little meatballs or balls of yarn. Scientists believe that these plaques gradually destroy brain cells.

Why do they occur? Researchers in the US and Europe have found that the answer may be found in our eating habits. Some foods make Alzheimer’s disease more likely; others help prevent it.

It is amazing that we can receive the abundant and eternal Life that Jesus gives us daily! Praise the Lord we can be so blessed! Thank you Jesus! We love you! We will praise you for all eternity!
Some people think that we will receive the eternal Life only in the eternity, but it is not true according to the Word:

^"Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent". (John 17.3)

If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and if we are in His Word WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE! When we know Him, the only and enough Savior and Lord God, Jesus Christ, we know the eternal life!

Thank you Jesus you took all our diseases on the cross as it is in Isaiah 53.4 and 1 Peter 2.24! We are healed and we have full life!

I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE, WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, WILL LIVE. AND WHOSOEVER LIVE AND BELIEVE IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE" (John 11:25-26).

I do not have words to praise you! I just would like to show I am not shame of the Gospell because it is the power of the Lord to save everyone who want to be save!
PRAISE THE LORD! I HAVE ETERNAL LIFE! TRUE LIFE! I will never die, spite of will be dead, I will live and if I am living and believing in Him I shall never die!
You can have eternal life also!

WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE SAVED AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE?

- Believe the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) that Jesus died for your sin, was buried, and has risen from the grave. (Mark 16:16)

- Confess that Jesus is the Son of God.(Acts 8:37) (Romans10:9-10)

- Repent of the sin inyour life.(Luke 13:3) (Acts 2: 38)

- Be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of your sin. (Acts 2:38)

- Be faithful until death (Matthew 10:22) (Revelation 2:10)

Bean is a very common meal on the brazilian table. The black beans, they say is the most nutritious, further accompanied by rice and kale or colored green.

The beans go well with meat, following a simple steak, salad, vegetables, etc. Once we get bored of eating rice and beans, to make a bean soup is good!

JESUS CHRIST, THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH AND ROOT OF DAVID

Can Jesus Christ be described as both the Lion of the Tribe of Judah and also as a Lamb of God? The two are extremes of character, the lion who is king of the animal kingdom and the lamb who is a docile animal. They exist as a paradox, that of great strength and majesty and, at the same time, that of quiet gentleness, kindness, and caring.
They are prophetic mysteries. Jesus came to earth like a lamb to show God's gentleness and kindness and will return as a lion with the majesty of a king to rule and judge His people. The book of Isaiah describes two incidents in Isaiah 11:6 and 65:25 when describing the lion and the lamb. Jesus came from the line of kings in the Old Testament which Matthew 1:1 traced the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. God made a covenant with Abraham that he would be blessed because of his faith and that his descendants would likewise be blessed if they continue to keep the covenant which Abraham made with God.

Satan can only be overcome by the blood of Jesus Christ. Unless we are children of God and we rely on the power of Jesus, we will not be able to conquer the craftiness of the devil. God will cast out evil in the name of Jesus if we believe and have faith in Christ. A Christian must be submissive to God and the devil will flee from us. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, Satan departed from Him when He submitted to the will of God. Jesus has shown us the way to escape from evil and we should do likewise.

We would like to share our love for Israel, a love that seems ever born and raised with us. The Lord has prospered us so much ,as he says He would, he granted us. For the grace we visit in 2001 to the Holy Land. Recalling that prosperity is not material wealth, but the abundance of spiritual grace that grants us the mercy to be happy in any circumstance. Watching the film on the story of King David and seeing how he conquered the area that would become the future city of Jerusalem, our love was awakened again because it was asleep. Our churches, mostly lacks the observance of this biblical commandment, because they think it is things from "old testament"! Jesus, as He Himself says did not come to abolish the Law but fulfill there! Then we must pray for Jerusalem as the Old Testament says!

Ezekiel is the third prophet of God in order of importance. The first is Isaiah, Jeremiah the second and fourth Daniel. Ezekiel means God is strength. In chapter 2 of Ezekiel he makes an overview of what Israel was in its time; shows us that God has to be our strength, as we have greater teaching the consequences of idolatry, which are unpredictable. Ezekiel was also taken to Babylon. God hates idolatry, because we cut relations with God by placing an image in His place. When we are 100% united with God we are strengthened. When the Jews were inclined to idolatry God departs from them. It happened with the Israeli people at that time, when Nebuchadnezzar captured all talented Jews and brought them to Babylon and from there came the slag to Israel. Ezekiel also was taken because he was talented.

THE CHOSEN PEOPLE

Originally God chose Israel to be His chosen people, but His people rebelled against Him time and again. The door to salvation was open to the Gentiles. Throughout the history of 6,000 years, God kept His promise and never completely rejected the Israelites. 70 years after Jesus' death, Israel did not exist at all and the nation became a nation once again in 1948 after the Second World War. History shows that the great empires that once flourished were lost for ever, never to revive again, the Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Islamic empires were history. The chosen people of Israel existed for 6000 years, and 4000 years of existence later, they were scattered around the world, and Israel did not exist for nearly 2000 years. Now Israel is slowly getting together again in this century.
God blessed Abraham, the ancestor of David, His chosen king. In Abraham, all who believe in the God of Abraham would be chosen and saved. Jesus Christ came from the line of David.

Before the Israelites entered the Promised Land of Israel, God told Moses to warn the Israelites to keep the commandments of the Lord God for He was bringing them into a good land with food ready to sustain them during the drought. Seven species were mentioned and they were wheat, barley, vines, figs, pomegranates, olive and honey. If they disobeyed God and worshiped other gods, they would surely perish.

Deuteronomy 8:6-11:

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills.
A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive and honey;
A land where thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; ..
When thou has eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

From the land of Egypt where the Israelies were in servitude, God brought them to a land of seven species of food which would make them survive in drought. However, they must not forget to keep the commandments of the Lord, or they perish.
